2008 in reviewJan 6 09

2008 was another big year for Go4.

Here's a quick rundown of some of our favourite projects for the year:

The Tatra Wedding Receptions website adds to the stable of stunning function and wedding venues in the Dandenongs which also includes Poet's Lane and Lyrebird Falls (websites also by us). We again collaborated with Sage Creative on this project and the end result is clean and elegant.

We set up a website and a Google Maps integrated stocklist locator for Cool Change Natural Springwater, who as well as having a fantastic, green product also gave us the classic line (for their contact page) "We’re the sort that would really love to know if we’ve walked out of the toilet with a bit of toilet paper sticking out the back of our pants. So, let us know if you think we can improve anything..."

On the medical front we built new sites for both the Fertility Society of Australia and Fertility Specialists of WA as well as continuing to work with Peninsula Health, including setting up a new section of their website for Frankston Community Health Services. We also did a redesign and content management system update for Obesity Surgery Centres of Australia website to reflect the growth in their organisation and a site for remote specialists Mediqs Away.

Other sites of note we created this year include St Kilda Marina, Powersource and Bacchus Distillery. We rethemed and added some fancy bits and a content management system for our favourite organiser Rebekah Goodwin.

We put together lots of issues of Getaway, Executive Edge's comprehensive leisure newsletter which made us wish we could stow away in the suitcase of the ever cheerful 'Editor at Large' Kimberly for a trip through South America, Tibet or the Caribbean.

We love working as a partner with the team from Waldron Smith Management and put together a number of sites for conferences they're running.

Many hard but satisfying hours we put into the fancy new website for longtime Go4 client the Sandringham Yacht Club which is very close to launch.

A major project at the end of the year was integration of St Kilda Boat Sales' great new St Kilda web camera. If you haven't already you should check out the live feed from the lighthouse at St Kilda Marina.

And now for 2009...
